Frequently Asked Questions
What size is the Britool Hallmark heavy-duty breaker bar?
The Britool Hallmark heavy-duty breaker bar has a 1/2" square drive and an overall length of 750mm (29.5 inches). The long handle provides substantial leverage, making it suitable for loosening stubborn, seized and high-torque fasteners in automotive, mechanical and workshop applications.
What is a 750mm breaker bar used for?
A 750mm heavy-duty breaker bar is primarily used to loosen stubborn, seized or heavily tightened nuts and bolts where additional leverage is required. The extended handle makes it particularly useful for automotive repairs, wheel and suspension work, chassis fasteners, engine and transmission components, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and heavy-duty workshop applications. Unlike an impact wrench, a breaker bar provides manually controlled torque without relying on compressed air or battery power.
Does the Britool Hallmark breaker bar have a flexible head?
Yes. The 180° pivoting head allows the handle to be positioned to suit the application, providing greater flexibility when working around restricted areas such as vehicle suspension, wheel hubs, chassis components and engine bays. The flexible head can make it easier to achieve a suitable working position when loosening difficult fasteners.
Is a replacement repair kit available for the Britool Hallmark 750mm breaker bar?
Yes. A replacement LP750HD/RK repair kit is available for the Britool Hallmark LP750HD heavy-duty power bar. The kit replaces the 1/2" drive knuckle end, retaining screw and spring, allowing the compatible breaker bar to be serviced rather than replaced completely. The repair kit is a consumable service component and is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
How much torque can the Britool Hallmark 750mm breaker bar handle?
The heavy-duty design is engineered for torque loads of up to approximately 1862Nm. Its reinforced head and heat-treated Chrome Vanadium steel construction make it suitable for demanding applications where considerable leverage is required. Always use the tool within its intended specification and with appropriate 1/2" drive accessories.
